1. What the numbers are for
Codedrop numbers exist to receive SMS verification codes for accounts you legitimately own or are authorised to create. That is the whole product; anything outside that purpose needs our written permission first.
2. Prohibited uses
You may not use Codedrop numbers to:
- Commit fraud, identity theft, or financial scams.
- Send or facilitate spam or unsolicited messaging.
- Evade bans, suspensions, or per-person limits on another service.
- Harass, stalk, or impersonate another person.
- Register accounts in bulk for resale or other commercial abuse.
- Do anything that is illegal where you or we operate.
3. Velocity limits and monitoring
We apply per-account limits on concurrent and daily verifications, and we log order metadata (IP address, user agent) to detect abuse. SMS contents are retained only as long as needed to show them to you. [RETENTION PERIOD — To be reviewed by counsel]
4. Enforcement
Violations can lead to cancelled orders, suspended accounts, and forfeiture of numbers. Where required, we cooperate with lawful requests from authorities. To report abuse of a Codedrop number, contact support from the Help page.
